Job Description Summary

The Manager, Retirement Plans Administration role is a manager-level role on the Total Rewards team in Human Resources. This role is responsible for the administration of the organization\'s defined benefit and defined contribution plans - qualified and non-qualified - in compliance with ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations. This role also leads the design, testing, deployment, and usage of internal HR and external administration systems, processes, and procedures to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of the organization\'s retirement plans. This role serves as the internal subject matter expert for other team members and resolves complex or escalated retirement plan administration issues and questions.

Job Description

The Manager, Retirement Plans Administration will:

Manage and lead the administration of the organization\'s defined benefit and defined contribution plans Manage and lead the execution of compliance programs, internal audits, external audits, and government filings Manage and lead the implementation of systems, processes, and standard operating procedures for the successful and effective management and delivery of retirement benefits Manage and lead improvement opportunities in administration, systems, processes, and procedures Manage and lead third-party vendor partners, systems, and administrative services Manage and lead the resolution of all participant questions and issues, including correcting plan administration failures Provide subject matter expertise and education on retirement benefits and administration best practices Maintain and update plan materials, benefits guides, and participant communication Maintain and update the annual compliance and administration calendar, ensuring quality and timeliness

Support management and execution of other Total Rewards programs as needed

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to the Director, Total Rewards

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent education/experience/training Prefer 7+ years of retirement plans experience, including compliance and administration, in roles of increasing responsibility Demonstrated knowledge of laws and regulations governing defined benefit and defined contributions plans Strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills Strong team player Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities Ability to mai tain confidential and sensitive information Ability to manage daily workload with assigned projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently to resolve issues on a day-to-day basis Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management and with employees Adaptability to changing business conditions and priorities.
