We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Program Specialist I on our Professional Satisfaction/Practice Sustainability team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring once a month in the office.
This position as part of the Practice Transformation team, coordinates daily activities related to the organizational well-being portfolio’s data reporting needs. Primary responsibilities include: development of data reports using an online data platform and Power BI; communication/collaboration with Service Delivery team; reviewing and interpreting survey results in online data platform; troubleshooting data visualization and integrity issues with the reporting and data analysis team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Reporting
Collaborate with the manager to implement and coordinate assignments and execution in accordance with approved project work plans.
Assist in redesigning processes and reporting templates to support efficient and successful delivery of clean, easily understood, and actionable reports for stakeholders.
Serve as the primary contact for internal team members regarding health system data reports, analysis requests, and additional reporting needs.
Coordinate with Data Analyst on analysis requests, inquiries and ad hoc requests.
Track all data analysis and reporting requests, maintaining a comprehensive database of requests and their status, and ensuring timely delivery of reporting requests to the Service Delivery team.
Provide weekly status reports to the Service Delivery team with report deck progress and monitor/respond to the team inbox.
Coordinate with the Service Delivery team to ensure stakeholder needs and requests are understood and delivered.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with health systems through effective analysis and reporting.
Maintain and communicate benchmarking options available for comparison.
Provide recommendations for enhanced reporting based on an analysis of health system trends and communicate these recommendations to the Program Specialist working with that health system.
Trend Analysis
Develop and recommend improvements to data storytelling and visualizations.
Assists in analyzing and reviewing
Health System KPI trends in Power BI.
Maintain familiarity with national benchmarking trends.
Review data reports to ensure accuracy and clarity for effective data interpretation.
Summarize key insights from data findings for use within reports and additional external communications.
Survey and Technology Enhancements
Provide enhancement feedback for reporting within our technology platforms (Power BI/Data Lab/etc.)
In collaboration with manager, troubleshoot technology issues as needed to ensure smooth operations and workflows within the assessment team.
Expedite issues, errors, and functional gaps occurring in Data Lab for timely and complete resolution.
Assist Data Lab Manager in testing Data Lab enhancements and user experience.
May include other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
Minimum 1+ years’ experience in project coordination and management, planning and execution or equivalent skills; experience in health care recommended
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft™ Project and web-based survey development tools preferred.
Data-driven mindset with experience in data reporting and the ability to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
Experience working with physicians and healthcare organizations preferred. Proven ability to coordinate work involving cross-organizational teams and proven track record of successful project outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to function effectively as a team member. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required.
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task across many assignments concurrently; detail and task-oriented, and the ability to function effectively under tight deadlines and high-volume workloads.
Ability to interface effectively with people of varying disciplines, background, and expertise and contribute to a positive working environment. Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and adapt effectively to changing circumstances.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; with proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Some travel may be required.
This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $56,100.00-$74,460.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
