Job overview and responsibilities:

Sr. Lead - Fuel System Technology will guide the development and implementation of ETRM and fuel management product features. This role is pivotal in aligning our technology solutions with fuel management business objectives. This role will conduct in-depth analysis, reengineer business processes, and lead needs assessments in collaboration with the project team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both business operations and technical details to facilitate high-level communication and drive the creation of innovative solutions that exceed our strategic goals.

Business Process:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical business process analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and strategic improvements across fuel management systems

  • Define and communicate a clear vision for current and future state processes, focusing on enhancing the configuration and functionality of the Right Angle application

  • Translate complex business needs, including those of Fuel Supply and Fuel Accounting teams, into actionable requirements that align with long-term objectives

  • Design and implement solutions to optimize fuel management business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory standards

Advanced-Data Analysis and Strategic Reporting:

  • Analyze and interpret data from the Right Angle system and related integrations to identify trends and support decision-making for fuel management and accounting processes

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor system performance, identify defects, and track enhancements for continuous improvement

  • Leverage data insights to recommend actionable improvements for third-party integrations and internal fuel management processes

Project Leadership:

  • Lead large-scale projects related to the Right Angle configuration, including defect resolution, system enhancements, and third-party integration improvements

  • Drive modernization efforts, focusing on optimizing integrations between Right Angle and other systems using cloud technologies to improve scalability and performance

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resolving issues collaboratively with Fuel Supply and Fuel Accounting teams

  • Organize and lead steering committee meetings with stakeholders to align priorities, review project progress, and make strategic adjustments

Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Act as the central liaison between business units, Fuel Supply teams, Fuel Accounting teams, and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration

  • Translate business requirements related to fuel procurement, supply chain management, and accounting processes into technical solutions and system configurations

  • Maintain relationships with software vendors and third-party service providers to ensure timely resolution of system defects and delivery of enhancements

  • Communicate system updates, project impacts, and business outcomes effectively to all stakeholders, managing expectations and driving alignment

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Fuel Supply and Fuel Accounting teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation within fuel management workflows

  • Lead efforts to enhance the integration of Right Angle with third-party tools and internal portals, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency

  • Institutionalize best practices and ensure Right Angle configurations meet industry standards while addressing specific business requirements

  • Foster collaboration across technology teams, business units, and external partners to achieve unified project goals

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify and implement enhancements to the Right Angle application, focusing on resolving defects and driving efficiencies in fuel management and accounting processes

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for fuel management and third-party integrations

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging lessons learned from defects and enhancements to optimize system performance

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Must have solid ETRM experience

  • 7+ years of related experience

  • Technical Expertise

  • Expertise in ETRM SYSTEMS, specifically Right Angle, with experience in system configuration, defect resolution, and enhancements

  • Strong understanding of fuel management business processes, including procurement, supply chain logistics, and fuel accounting

  • Hands-on experience in integrating Right Angle with third-party applications and leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) for scalability and performance improvements

  • Business Process Analysis

  • Proven ability to analyze and improve fuel management workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings

  • Expertise in aligning technical solutions, such as system configurations and enhancements, with long-term strategic objectives

  • Strategic Thinking and Leadership

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and negotiate effectively with stakeholders

  • Communication and Stakeholder Management

  • Adept at working with Fuel Supply and Fuel Accounting teams, translating their requirements into actionable system enhancements

  • Excellent relationship management skills with internal stakeholders, software vendors, and third-party integration providers

  • Agile Product Development

  • Skilled in managing product development cycles using Agile methodologies, focusing on defect resolution, continuous improvement, and rapid value delivery

  • Mentorship

  • Willingness to mentor junior analysts and team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $124,735.00 to $169,950.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
