Grubhub Holdings, Inc. seeks a Manager, Engineering in Chicago, IL.

Duties: Lead and manage a team of engineers, including setting goals, providing feedback, and resolving conflicts. Develop, modify, and execute organizational policies that affect immediate operations with limited supervision or instruction. Analyze situations/data requiring in-depth or specialized knowledge and ensure full implementation and compliance of applicable Security Policies and Standards while adhering to budgets and objectives. Develop and execute engineering plans, including setting priorities, allocating resources, and tracking progress while balancing short-term tactical needs with mid-term or long-term objectives. Engage with other Engineering Managers across the Department to ensure messaging, approach and solution delivery are consistent and reliable and communicate gaps and deficiencies. Represent the security engineering team to other departments, including communicating project status, coordinating with other teams, and resolving cross-functional issues. Drive development and continuous improvement of processes to enable positive trending on KPIs and SLAs. Lead a team of Security Engineers, providing guidance on technical skills, career development, and soft skills. Stay up to date on the latest technologies, including attending conferences, reading journals, and participating in online communities. Telecommuting permitted within MSA.
