Amergis Mammography Technologist Chicago IL in Chicago, Illinois

Are you a skilled Mammography Technologist looking for an exciting opportunity? Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified professional for a 13-week, full-time contract with multiple hospitals in Chicago, IL.

Position Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Chicago, IL (Float between 2 nearby hospitals)

Pay Rate: $75/hr (Local)

Total Travel Package: $3,402.00/week (Gross) Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for the travel package

  • Taxable wages: $1,120.00/week

  • Weekly lodging allowance: $1,638.00/week

  • Weekly meals/incidentals: $644.00/week

  • Estimated weekly take-home after taxes: $3,122.00/week (Net)

    Schedule:

  • Full Time (40 hours/week)

  • Mon – Fri, shifts vary between 7:30am – 4pm, 8am – 4:30pm, 8:30am – 5pm

  • Every other weekend, shifts will be 6:30am – 2pm or 7am – 3:30pm

    Duration: 13 weeks (with likely extension)

    Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist

  • Experience with Hologic and Siemens equipment

  • Ability to float between hospitals

  • ARRT (M), BLS, IEMA certifications

  • Proof of completed 8 hours of digital training and 8 hours of tomosynthesis training

  • Dexa scan experience preferred

  • COVID-19 vaccination

    Job Responsibilities: The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Using specialized X-ray equipment, you will take images of breast tissue and collaborate with radiologists to interpret the results. Your work will be crucial in detecting breast cancers early, improving the chances of successful treatment and survival.
