Live Nation Maintenance - Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois

Job Summary:

The Role:

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Job Functions:

  • Assist with in house trouble calls

  • Provide assistance to Journeyman Engineers on in house projects, painting, drywall repair, appliance repair, etc.

  • First responder on Emergency Situations within an office environment

  • Ensuring maintenance supplies are not depleted

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must have basic knowledge of HVAC, Electricity, Plumbing, Carpentry, Drywall and Painting

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Able to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual a plus

  • Must have basic hand tools: sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, multi-meter etc.

  • Open to and able to work day shifts, some evenings and weekends as required depending on company needs

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Handling maintenance tasks will require stooping, pulling, pushing and working in cramped areas

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more using proper lifting techniques
