At LinkedIn, we empower professionals to grow and succeed. As part of the Sales Solutions Customer Education team, you'll shape the way global users learn and thrive while using out tools. The Instructional Designer creates high-impact learning materials using various digital media formats for LinkedIn customers. These learning materials empower customers around the world with the best practices they need to reach success using LinkedIn Sales Solutions products.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will lead efforts to determine learning objectives, establish clear timelines for deliverables, gather key requirements from partners on the Customer Success and product teams, recommend the best format to suit the learner experience, and create learning assets that serve core customer needs. The assets you create will help millions of sales professionals adopt best practices, close more deals, and see tangible value from LinkedIn Sales Solutions. You'll also have opportunities to grow in your design, strategy, and leadership skills.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate critical thinking to solve complex problems within established guidelines. You must also demonstrate excellent instructional writing skills and be able to adhere meticulously to established development guidelines and templates. Establishing rapport and mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders is another key to success. Finally, things move quickly on this high-performing team and deadlines shift to meet the needs of the Sales Solutions business. Demonstration of self-direction paired with transparent communication is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Partner and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts within LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions business to uncover business and learning needs.
• Update existing Sales Solutions coursework or build new learning materials to support strategic business and learning goals.
• Identify learning objectives tied to desired customer behavior outcomes.
• Recommend the learning modality solving for a simple and delightful learner experience, customer behavior outcome goals, and product go-to-market goals.
• Design learning assets balancing the need to deliver within given timelines while accounting for maintenance sustainability and localization.
Script, record, and edit engaging training videos to support product adoption and customer enablement.
Script, design, and create visually effective training PDFs, one-pagers, and user guides aligned with instructional design principles.
Provide graphic design support for assets and experiences published in the virtual learning center.
Continuously incorporate peer review feedback.
Manage deliverable deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in customer learning, training, education, adult learning, teaching, or technical writing.
3+ years of experience working with rapid eLearning development tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia etc. ), and web-based meeting tools (e.g., Zoom) to create instructionally sound content.
Experience with multimedia design skills, including basic video editing, motion graphics, layout design, and asset creation using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), or equivalent tools.
Experience in Project management including execution, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on a global or multi-cultural team.
Experience working in B2B SaaS, sales enablement, or customer education.
Experience structuring lessons or courses to produce a behavioral outcome.
Experience with multimedia, graphic design, or video production.
Extended enterprise experience (customer-facing not internal L&D).
Demonstration of a growth mindset with a passion for learning, feedback, and innovation.
Proven critical thinker.
Experience with visual design principles and how multimedia and design can support training design, development and delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BA or equivalent work experience (Degree with emphasis on Instructional Design is a plus).
Experience creating storyboards, scripts, and video/audio-based learning assets.
Experience with data-driven decision making and prioritization.
Contributor to and owner of team strategy and processes.
Can independently own driving projects to successful completion
Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders

The pay range for this role is $86,000-$140,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
