Job Title: Field Service Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Field Service Manager to oversee conveyor system installation and maintenance projects at client sites. You will ensure project compliance, provide hands-on assistance, and supervise on-site teams. This role involves significant travel and requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Manage conveyor system installation and maintenance projects at client sites
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal teams
Provide hands-on assistance to Millwrights & Electricians on client sites to ensure proper decommissioning & installation of conveyor systems
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
Supervise on-site project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, for project and client compliance
Resolve any project-related issues and develop contingency plans when necessary
Supervise and instruct field service technicians to ensure the scope of work is met on time, within budget, and to client expectations
Provide training and support to clients on conveyor system operations and maintenance
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in management, preferably in the conveyor industry
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, up to 90% of the time
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School or GED equivalent
Post high school certification/degree in machining preferred
3 years’ experience in the precision metal working machinery
Experience with the person products and Intralox Sorters a plus
Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, blueprints, specifications, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Fluent in reading and writing English; understanding of Spanish is a plus
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Skill to navigate and work within company’s ERP and CRM software
Proficient to excellent typing skills

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and adherence to safety requirements at client sites, such as Amazon facilities. The role requires physical demands including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Safety is a priority, and compliance with EH&S requirements is essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position which will be 90-100% travel nationwide.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
