Aerotek Electrician in Chicago, Illinois

Description:

  • Electrical repair of production equipment including overhead cranes, lathes, AC/DC motors and drives, hydraulic systems, control panels, and facility maintenance

  • PLC troubleshooting

-Working on overhead cranes and combustion systems often

  • Running and bending conduit

  • Repair of hydraulic system sensors and controls

  • Extensive work on AC/DC Drives

  • Work on drives, sensors, controls, and acuators

  • Individuals need to be able to work with others and be trusted when they are left alone

Looking for an apprentice on 1st shift and a journeyman on 3rd shift

1st shift 6am-2:30pm

3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

Apprentice pay- $22-$28 (depending on if they just have schooling or if they have some hands on work as well)

Journeyman Pay- $34-$40

Qualifications:

Must Haves:

-Troubleshoot heavy industrial machinery

  • 480 volts and AB PLCs

  • Hydraulic experience

Nice To Have:

  • Steel Forging environment

  • Formal electrical education/certification
