POSITION OVERVIEW    

The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives, and Pre-Sales Engineers and will actively participate in the sales process to support the company’s financial goals through new customer acquisition. RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Pre-Sales Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure the team achieves their sales targets and delivers exceptional client experiences.

    Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base within the legal industry.

  • Identify emerging market trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales objectives with overall company goals and initiatives.

    Sales Execution

  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, leveraging deep industry expertise and solution knowledge to effectively address client challenges and opportunities.

  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans, identify key decision-makers, and navigate complex sales cycles within law firms and corporate legal departments.

  • Partner with Solutions Engineering and Pre-Sales Engineers to design and deliver customized eDiscovery managed services solutions that meet the unique requirements of our clients and drive value.

    Performance Management

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, leveraging data analytics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize sales processes and initiatives.

  • Conduct regular sales pipeline reviews and forecasting exercises to ensure accuracy and alignment with revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team, keeping them informed of industry trends, product updates, and best practices.

    Customer Relationships

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, legal industry influencers, and strategic partners, serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the eDiscovery space.

  • Understand client business objectives, pain points, and priorities, and provide strategic guidance and solutions to address their evolving needs and challenges.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record of success in sales within the legal technology or eDiscovery industry, with at least 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Legal Studies, or related field; MBA or JD preferred.

  • Deep understanding of the eDiscovery process, legal technology solutions, and industry trends, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional client experiences.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools, with a data-driven approach to sales planning, performance management, and decision-making.
