Robert Half Business Development and Marketing Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Description

A reputable firm in Chicago is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and enhance their brand presence within the industry. This role will report directly to the President and offers a dynamic work environment with significant opportunities for professional development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building a brand presence and enhancing client relations through innovative marketing strategies and active engagement in industry events. This is a hybrid role, based in Chicago.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that effectively communicate the brand values and capabilities.

  • Forge strong relationships with industry partners and clients, enhancing network and business opportunities.

  • Manage and optimize digital presence, including website and LinkedIn updates, to maintain and grow professional image.

  • Coordinate and oversee corporate events and client engagement activities, ensuring high standards and alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Photoshop to create impactful marketing materials and manage client information.

  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities within the construction and architecture sectors.

  • Champion corporate culture, promoting values such as integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries.

  • Demonstrated ability in business development and building professional relationships.

  • Proven track record of managing marketing campaigns and corporate events.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to engage with all levels of stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
