Description We are in the legal industry, situated in Chicago, Illinois, seeking an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team. In this role, you will be required to handle various tasks related to family law. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where you'll be tasked with drafting, reviewing discovery, and managing cases using your expertise in different software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle family law cases with utmost professionalism and diligence.

• Draft and review discovery documents to ensure they are legally sound.

• Utilize your proficiency in 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and other case management software to manage and organize case files.

• Leverage your skills in Conveyancer and Document Management to streamline the legal process.

• Conduct briefings to update the team and clients on case progression.

• Manage civil litigation cases, ensuring all legal procedures and protocols are followed.

• Administer claims, working closely with clients and other legal professionals.

• Handle complaints professionally, providing appropriate legal advice and solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest in consumer electronics to provide relevant legal advice and support. Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law.

• Proficient in using 3M systems.

• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat.

• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.

• Knowledge of Conveyancer software is an advantage.

• Proficient in Document Management.

• Proven ability in Briefing and presenting case strategies.

• Experience in Civil Litigation is a must.

• Proven ability in Claim Administration.

• Experience in Complaint Handling is required.

• Knowledge in Consumer Electronics is a plus.
