Job Description

Brookfield Properties has an immediate In-Office opening for an Associate Recruiter at our Chicago office.

Position Summary

The associate recruiter will be responsible for partnering with other HR partners and business leaders to identify key recruiting needs and utilizing effective recruitment strategies that will attract and retain top talent. The associate recruiter will be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment activities and initiatives for an assigned business group.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle talent recruitment, sourcing and recruitment activities for straightforward roles, primarily field based, including both non-exempt and exempt positions

  • Cultivate and maintain ongoing strong working relationships with the other HR partners to understand the business, workforce planning strategies, recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process

  • Research and network with passive candidates in an effort to build a pipeline of key talent available for immediate and future needs as well as create robust sourcing strategies that will attract top talent

  • Manage all scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and interviewers

  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates to provide a positive candidate experience

  • Analyze recruitment trends and metrics and develop solutions and improvements when necessary

  • Partner with hiring manager, compensation team and other HR Business Partners to present and negotiate candidate offers

  • Provide guidance to employees on general benefit and employment questions

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Minimum (1) year full cycle recruiting experience supporting a variety of roles

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Process oriented

  • Strong execution and follow through

  • Flexible and demonstrated ability to multitask

  • Must be able to keep confidential employee and team information discrete
