Position Summary:

Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and consultation to the specific areas of the business across multiple functional areas and geographies. Partners with senior leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align and develop HR strategies that support business’ strategic priorities, enhance workforce performance, and foster an engaging and inclusive work culture.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides forward-thinking HR leadership, consulting and act as a strategic partner, trusted advisor and coach to assigned group’s leadership team, providing guidance and support on all people – related matters.

  • Develops and implements HR strategies that align with business initiatives to help leadership drive organizational effectiveness by providing guidance for leaders and employees in a variety of areas including talent acquisition, talent development, employee relations, performance management, compensation management, training, policy & regulatory compliance.

  • Leverages insights to make recommendations for improving organizational design, development and performance and changes; partner with key clients to ensure that their organizations are structured in a way that will enable them to meet or exceed business goals.

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen with ability to root-cause issues, match people strategies to business strategies, and deliver talent programs that drive results.

  • Cultivates, builds and maintains strong working relationships with the internal HR team and business leaders to collaborate on department or team initiatives Provides knowledge and guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Analyzes HR metrics, identify trends, themes and prepare recommendations to develop impactful solutions and programs, provide coaching to leadership, and lead long-term organizational and talent strategies.

  • Applies and integrates advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce planning decision-making (eg. Staffing, learning and development, talent management, diversity and human resource compliance).

  • Manages the implementation of the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, compensation planning, to change management and organizational design, etc.

  • Manages HR staff to support HR and business initiatives including ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and resolution of employee issues while maintaining cultural alignment. Managing a wide range of employee needs, ensuring a positive work environment, and maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Position Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years' experience in HR roles including experience business partnering with senior executives, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry. Broad HR knowledge in main domain areas such as organizational design, executive coaching, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, talent development, employee relations and engagement. Managing a wide range of employee needs, ensuring a positive work environment, and maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • PHR, SPHR, SHL, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
