Job Description:

• Ensures software quality through testing software and software platforms for specific business needs including enhancements, maintenance, and defect resolutions.

• Creates and maintains test plans and individual test cases using approved standards, processes, and tools for common and complex projects.

• Evaluates level of risk in determining the scope and coverage of individual test plan(s).

• Executes test cases and accurately documents defects using approved standards, processes, and tools for common and complex projects.

• Collaborates in requirements development and review.

• Reports results for common and complex projects and makes recommendations to key business stakeholders on the quality of the product, software development lifecycle processes, and the risk of promoting for production use.

• Participates in the creation and management of project plans.

• Consistently meets agreed upon deadlines or escalates issues, concerns, and barriers to key project leaders.

• Assists in the prioritization of tasks and assignments.

• Investigates and assists in the resolution of common and complex issues, incidents, and problems.

• Collaboratively works with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.

• Develops training and knowledge-based materials for use by peers and other information security team members.

• Creates and maintains complex database queries.

• Creates and maintains automation scripts for complex projects.

• Participates in the design and creation of test harnesses and automation and performance testing frameworks.

Position may telecommute from any state in the United States except California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Washington.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the creation and maintenance of complex database queries

• Knowledge of functional, nonfunctional, and security software testing

• Knowledge of working with the Agile software development process

• Knowledge of JIRA

• Knowledge of Java and C# object-oriented programming languages

• Knowledge of the software test lifecycle including requirement analysis, planning, design, development, execution, test closure, documentation, and reporting

• Knowledge of writing Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, Load, UAT, End-to-End, and Interoperability testing

• Knowledge of Jenkins of CI/CD

• Knowledge of testing SOAP and REST-based web services

Upon hire, all applicants will be subject to drug testing/screening and background checks.

Salary (Annual): $120,000.00 - $140,000.00

Work Location: 5381 South Green Street, Murray, Utah 84123. Position may telecommute from any state in the United States except California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Washington.

Hours of work: Usually 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$48.27 - $76.00
