Job Description

As the Technical Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide counsel, assistance, and oversight of the organization's strategy and operational activities.

  • Lead technology teams and supervising managers in different groups across OCI AI/ML.

  • Setting performance goals for technology teams.

  • Outlining and implementing goals for the company's research and development department.

  • Tracking strategic projects and goals that key for the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement operational hygiene practices, with a focus on change management, problem management, and incident management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive requirements to instill/mechanize the operational bar into existing tooling.

  • Establish and communicate clear guidelines and standards for measuring the operational bar, ensuring alignment with OCI’s cloud strategy.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, leveraging your expertise to drive the successful adoption and adherence to an OCI-wide operational bar.

  • Utilize your program management skills to coordinate complex initiatives, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achieved within established timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience operating as a principal/senior-principal Technical Program Manager, with a proven track record of leading cross-organizational change.

  • In-depth knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management best practices

  • Strong written and verbal communication, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and implement initiatives at scale, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $104,100 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
