Description
We are inviting applications for the role of an Entry Level Accountant in the financial services industry. Based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, you will be working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assisting in auditing files and processing reconciliations. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in auditing files to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Process reconciliations in an efficient and timely manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial information
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement best practices for financial management.
Requirements
• 1+ year of experience in a relevant financial services role.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
• Has experience with bank reconciliations.
• Displays strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has a solid understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibits strong problem-solving skills.
• Displays strong ethical standards and integrity in all work-related activities.
