Ford Motor Company Technical Product Manager in Chennai, India

  • Help Ford's EPEO organization to deliver key Investment OKRs as a way to deliver to Ford's Enterprise Technology Goals.

  • Act as the point of escalation within Ford EPEO to help partners and their key stakeholders solve technical problems to deliver the KR milestones.

  • Be empathetic to our partners, understand their operating model and communicate clearly, effectively how our deliverables can help Ford Enterprise Technology achieve their goals

  • Excel in navigating ambiguity and adapt to change effortlessly. Whether faced with scant information or inundated with diverse data and demands, you adeptly gather, discern, and integrate information within a dynamic, fast-paced setting

  • Manage executive communication: deliver clear updates, propose features, and share perspectives that resonate with diverse leadership teams in Ford's key entities outside of EPEO & Enterprise Technology

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and advocate current and future needs into ITO Service Teams.

  • Translate the user persona and collaborate with cross-functional teams within ITO to deliver the goals specific to Objectives & Key Results

  • Ensure the project requirements are fully understood, prioritized and executed through standard process

  • Define the validation strategy and contribute to and approve the validation plan

  • In collaboration with ITO Service Manager, enable value delivery, understand and deliver roadmap to achieve ITO Transformation goals

  • Communicate progress to Senior leadership at regular cadence; Rapidly engage Service Line Owner if OKRs are off-track and implement corrective actions

  • Understand ITO Infrastructure deliverables, workflows and task flows relevant to delivery of services.

  • Coach teams on Agile Methodology, ensure ceremonies are fully executed and progress is measurable.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: ability to dissect problems and projects into manageable tasks.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the cross functional ITO Service Teams to meet Integration targets

  • Interpersonal Skill: Strong team player who has a proven track record of working effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment and with user groups.

  • Proven ability to make decisions, positively influence others, and work well in a fast-moving environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact well with people at all levels within an organization

  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills

  • Customer focus, value driven – passionate about working to develop projects to address enterprise objectives.

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • BE/BTech/MCA/MTech degree

  • Overall 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years hands-on AGILE Methodology and Tools.

  • Training and certification as a professional scrum master (PSM) or as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are an asset. (Nice to have)
