Eaton Corporation Manager - Quality in Chennai, India
What you’ll do:
In this position the incumbent will be accountable for achieving overall Quality objectives for the site. He/She will be responsible for strengthening Quality systems and processes by leveraging Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) and drive high levels of deployment maturity for each of the various EQMS policies within the site.
"1. Accountable for driving Site's Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) journey towards highest maturity level as assigned by the Business & ensure appropriate process development in response to change in requirements.
Effectively lead cross-functional structured problem solving teams using multiple tools to improve Quality performance/Customer satisfaction.
Subject matter expert of National, International, Industry & Customer specific standards ( ISO/IATF/AS etc)
Ability to effectively engage in Audits/assessments as a Certified Lead Auditor aligned to International, Regulatory and Customer requirements.
Responsible for participating in Cross-functional/Cross-Business forums representing the site to share lessons-learnt for improving processes.
Accountable for designing and developing tools and techniques for measuring systems and devices (MSA studies) & conduct advance analysis to generate reports on inspection and test results appropriate for internal and external Customers.
Drive APQP tools & processes & support effective completion of projects & programs meeting targeted objectives (ProLaunch NPI/STP/CI projects)
Effectively Lead, interpret and articulate the requirements of Quality Management system.
Responsible to mentor, coach team members and drive high performance culture within the Function."
Qualifications:
Any Bachelor or Masters degree in Engg.
18+ years in QMS
Skills:

3) Demonstrated ability to apply SPC, MSA,DOE, Minitab to drive Continuous Improvement
