Lockheed Martin Automated Test Technician III / RF Test / Electronics / Chelmsford, MA in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Description: This individual could work as a support to design engineering or Automated Test Engineering. Responsible for gathering all the required technical data needed to assemble cables and test stands. The candidate will be expected to know what kinds of probing questions to ask before taking the lead on a task, and have the ability to design and execute test procedures, collect and report test data. Must be able to troubleshoot issues, must also be able to communicate issues effectively with others in order to come to a collaborative solution.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to troubleshoot complex RF and digital circuits; Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers; Fine Pitch hand-solder skills; Computer skills such as MSWord, Excel; Knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging; Schematic Capture, and reading. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Safe handling of ESD sensitive devices. Ability to assemble and test, test stand racks.

Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Candidate must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.

Desired Skills:

Strong Organizational skills. Strong Interpersonal skills are required to co-ordinate with functional areas across the entire organization. Strong Verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Production Operations, Test Engineers, and leadership.

Familiarization with Preventative Maintenance planning and procedures. Familiarization with test equipment calibration. Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment as well as independently. Candidate must be proactive and goal oriented.
