Senior Strategic Material Planner

Opella is a leading marketer and manufacturer of a broad portfolio of branded over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products, in such categories as allergy, upper and lower gastrointestinal, skin care, topical pain care, oral care and other OTC toiletry products. The USCHC portfolio includes well-recognized brands such as: Allegra, Nasacort, Xyzal, Dulcolax, Gold Bond, Cortizone-10, Icy Hot, Aspercreme, ACT, Unisom, and Selsun Blue. We are looking for an experienced materials planner to establish our overall strategy for Active Ingredients and Raw Materials. This role will be integral to meet our business objectives for cost reductions while supporting our production plan and customer service needs.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning of materials required to support production.
Develop, implement, and manage target inventory levels and material strategies
Collaborate with Procurement, KSOL, and Vendors on Vendor Held Inventory or Supplier arrangements/initiatives.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure OTIF targets are supported.
Provide long and short-term forecasts to Procurement/Vendors
Collaborate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance expiry dating and releasing of material for production
Work with cross-functional teams to reduce waste, delay, and excess inventory opportunities.
Manage rejected inventories and assure timely disposition of rejections and returns.
About You
BS degree in Business related field
4+ years experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, Transportation, Manufacturing, and a strong understanding of the E2E supply chain
Strategic decision making ability
Influence and Negotiation
Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and/or Snowflake
Strong problem-solving skills to any discussion with colleagues
Information tools (Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of Shift is a plus

The salary range for this position is:
$75,525.00 - $109,091.66
All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
