Robert Half Dispatcher 3 days per week Tue-Thurs in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Description We are offering a role in the service industry based in CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, 37405-3215, United States. The role involves dispatching duties and requires proficiency in IBM AS/400, Management System, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites. This is a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage dispatch operations for effective service delivery
• Utilize IBM AS/400 and Management System in managing dispatch operations
• Use Microsoft Excel and Office Suites for data entry and communication purposes
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Ensure accuracy and speed in data entry operations
• Maintain a casual yet professional dress code
• Demonstrate computer literacy in all job functions
• Work three days a week including Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Use excellent customer service skills to handle irate customers
• Perform other dispatch-related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service abilities
• Ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently
• Previous experience in a dispatcher role or similar is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Willingness to work in shifts as the job may require 24/7 coverage
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Familiarity with dispatching software or similar systems is a plus.
