DESCRIPTION

OF

JOB

The crane operator is

responsible for operating the

overhead crane

to

handle material in

the

warehouse including loading and unloading material from trailers and railcars.

JOB

ACTIVITIES

Operates

crane

in

a

safe

manner

according

to

safety

guidelines

and

regulations.

Conducts

daily

crane

maintenance

inspection

each

day

at

the

start

of

the

shift.

3.

Retrieves

material

from

storage to

load

onto

processing

equipment,

trucks,

or

rail

cars.

4.

Unloads

inbound material from

trucks

and

rail

cars

.

5.

Moves

heavy

materials

for

warehouseman

and

parts

cleaners

.

Maintains

housekeeping.

Monitors

work

area.

Demonstrates ability and

accepts responsibility

to

perform other duties assigned by

the foreman

as necessary to complete the shift.
