Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage invoicing and receivables daily functions, especially cash application and follow up on deductions/credits. The ideal candidate will be proficient in navigating online systems and portals, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. Additionally, they will provide support to colleagues in the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cash application tasks, including applying payments and reconciling accounts for multiple customers per day, with complex invoices.
Ensuring timely and accurate application of payments for all customers.
Conduct thorough deduction follow-up, particularly on large invoices and with major customers, isolating and addressing deductions promptly.
Assist in scanning invoices and tracking financial paperwork.
Assist with billing and invoicing questions for customers and internal business partners.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior experience in cash application and deduction follow-up preferred.
Proficiency in using portals for customer interactions and resolving shortages.
Familiarity with Dynamics or other ERP software is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal teams and external customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience with large retail customers and their portals is advantageous.
