Tonix’s infectious disease pipeline consists of a vaccine in development to prevent smallpox and monkeypox, which also serves as the live virus vaccine platform or recombinant pox vaccine platform for other infectious diseases. Position OverviewTonix is looking for a full-time Corporate Finance Senior Associate to effectively work cross functionally to lead corporate budgetting, scenario planning, and internal valuation efforts. This position would be responsible for partnering across all levels to prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors. This is a fast-paced challenging position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package. This role is an exempt (salaried) position. This position will report directly to the COO and will be based at the Tonix Chatham, NJ office. Essential DutiesLeading the corporate budgetting process, coordinating across all departments and C-suite, and using Workday Adaptive Planning softwareWorking with Finance team to review and analyze monthly Actual vs Budget resultsLeading quarterly Actuals vs Budget results meetings with department headsPreparing materials for investment banks, potential investors, Board of Directors, and other stakeholdersModeling and presenting financial projection scenarios, including NPV analysesCoordinating with Project Managers to track variances to research & development (R&D) program budgetsSupporting financial efforts around government grant submissions and trackingEvaluating potential investments, including in-licensing and asset purchase opportunitiesAnalyzing valuation and returns of new and existing R&D programsAssisting with transaction due diligenceLiaising with business stakeholders across all levels to achieve strategic, financial, and transactional goalsAssist accounting team with quarterly and annual SEC financial reporting, as neededFollow all established occupational health and safety procedures, good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamworkPerform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support Tonix on various business initiatives Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred2+ years of prior experience in a similar role within the same industry or Corporate Finance experience in a consulting firm or investment bank Adept at using Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analytics Working knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning (budgeting) software is a plusExcellent analytical skills and business acumen, results oriented thinker Strong ability to build relationships and work effectively with various senior stakeholdersAbility for travel 10% of the time / Ability for minimal travelDedicated team player who is able to withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essentialStrong planning and organizational skillsComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionHighly organized, results driven, problem solver, and collaboratorDemonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation Tonix offers a salary commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.
