Job Title: SMT Operator
Job Description
Responsible for operating and maintaining Juki equipment that places electronic components onto circuit boards. The role involves setting up, operating, programming, and troubleshooting the equipment.
Responsibilities
Operating equipment: Using Juki SMT machines to solder electrical components onto circuit boards
Maintaining equipment: Servicing and repairing the SMT machine
Quality control: Inspecting final products and recording data output
Following schedules: Meeting production schedules and daily quotas
Setting up orders: Setting up new orders and programming the equipment
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting basic problems with the equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of experience in SMT operation
Ability to read and interpret work instructions (Redbook - they are not fully digital yet)
Open to helping out in other departments and cross-training (MUST)
Ability to stand for the entire shift
Computer knowledge (Windows)
Able to work independently
Use of small hand tools and identify tools
Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
Juki SMT equipment experience (Nice to have)
Work Environment
The work environment is a smaller shop that is very clean and temperature controlled. The team consists of 17 employees on the floor. Employees will receive one 30-minute break for lunch and two 10-minute breaks during the workday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, Minnesota.
