Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This mid-level role is responsible for shipping and receiving warehouse duties within our warehouse facility. This position will support all Sales, Service, and Installation functions.
Responsibilities
Maintain a physical presence in the warehouse to process day-to-day activities.
Answer the company phone.
Receive all inbound and outbound mail daily.
Interface with corporate personnel to accurately process warehouse tasks.
Process all Cash Handling South TCA & ATM Orders sent by the 3PL and update Sales Admin to close in Navision.
Update Sales Force with all serial numbers and peripherals for TCA & ATM Orders.
Act as the main liaison between the 3PL & IST for shipments and pickup requests.
Process Techmate orders as necessary from ordering agent requests.
Receive all Security Sales Equipment Jobs in Navision.
Update all Picklist in Sales Force for each job stage until completion.
Research job-related issues and provide feedback to Sales Admin as necessary.
Support the Fleet Manager for vehicles returned to the south by tracking, re-assigning, detailing, and working with repair shops for needed repairs.
Cover for the Logistical Warehouse Manager as needed to handle the Florida Region.
Manage special projects as they arise and see them through with the 3PL.
Load and unload freight daily.
Receive all freight shipments (UPS, freight carriers, etc.).
Shelve inventory items.
Package parts, supplies, and equipment for shipping.
Maintain accurate shipping and freight records.
Process all shipments via UPS & FedEx daily.
File UPS & FedEx claims and follow through until the claim is complete.
Set up freight shipments and handle all freight claims for the south.
Maintain Customer Held Spreadsheet.
Maintain Equipment Serialized Spreadsheet.
Maintain Sales Equipment Inventory.
Maintain Quarterly Pipe Count.
Perform required physical inventories.
Assist with Full Tech Inventory Counts.
Verify receipt of equipment on a job-by-job basis.
Maintain control over job inventories.
Assist with the disposition of customer equipment returned from jobs.
Make emergency deliveries, pick up used equipment from customer locations, and pick up locally acquired parts, tools, and equipment.
Ensure overall cleanliness and neatness of the warehouse, shipping area, and receiving area.
Remove scrap metal and follow up on claim checks.
Maintain all 3PL KPI records.
Essential Skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and world shipping software.
Must have a clean driving record with the ability to drive a van or light truck with lift gate.
Ability to drive a forklift required.
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Good organizational skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
More than 2 years of warehouse operations experience.
Experience with inventory control including manual counts and data entry.
Experience with small package shipments using FedEx or UPS shipping and receiving software.
Experience with SAP programs is a plus.

Work Environment
This is a small, temperature-controlled facility. It is a satellite office from the main location in Maryland. Very few employees work here, so understanding that this is a lead role is crucial. The work schedule is 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
