As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for generating revenue selling new and used equipment in the Raleigh, NC area. The ideal candidates will be a competitive sales professional with a hunter mentality to provide world-class solutions and customer satisfaction while maximizing sales in their assigned territory

Key Job Duties include:

  • Prospect New Business within defined sales territory.

  • Sell New and Used Industrial Equipment from the brands represented by G&W Equipment.

  • Identify, meet, and develop a rapport with companies to ensure capital equipment purchasing decisions.

  • Work with other G&W Equipment team members and departments.

  • Analyze sales territory to determine where G&W Equipment product sales are needed and initiate action to improve market share within defined sales territory.

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning.

  • Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities.

  • Sell all equipment within the G&W Equipment portfolio to new and existing customers throughout the assigned sales territory.

  • Create business plans that are customized by customer account to ensure customer and profit fulfillment.

    Requirements

  • Outstanding relationship-building skills. 

  • Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience in a similar or related industry with a focus on building a successful sales territory.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Understanding of basic financial merchandising.

  • Ability to remain persistent and overcome customer's objections.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Outlook, and Excel is required

  • General understanding of the sales CRM system

  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple customers

  • Experience cold calling and building relationships by phone and email to generate sales opportunities.
