About This Role

Carrier’s Commercial HVAC service business is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to function as the focal for parts transformation projects. The successful candidate will identify and lead projects and processes resulting in a step change in delivery, logistics and financial results for the service team. The candidate will be able to think strategically, create and execute project plans, track results and support execution when needed. This is an exciting, high visibility opportunity for a candidate that can successfully navigate both strategic projects and tactical day to day requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as the parts focal for the CHVAC Americas service network, support both leadership and local market-based stakeholders

  • Formulate strategies to improve parts supply to the service business

  • Identify, prioritize and lead key transformational projects including (but not limited to):

  • Parts staffing requirements onsite in local markets

  • Virtual/physical consignments,

  • Logistics to the field service network, including truck stock, pick-up/drop-off and targeted inventory depots

  • Demand planning

  • Generate business case(s) and leadership approval materials for proposed projects

  • Define and document critical processes, including (but not limited to):

  • Collection and aggregation of near and long-term parts requirements from across the region

  • Demand forecast generation for use by internal partners

  • Critical parts cadence that includes prioritized needs, consistent delivery commitment updates, and closed-loop communication to the field

  • Critical parts escalation including triggers

  • Lead the creation of parts-related metrics and analytics, including:

  • On-time parts delivery performance

  • Forecast fulfillment

  • Downstream impact of supply on service execution and revenues

  • Identify, drive and document business-process improvements

  • Support local markets with warehouse organization and logistics improvements

  • Work closely with internal supply partners to ensure aligned strategies and successful day to day execution

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree

  • 5+ years of experience in Aftermarket parts demand planning and logistics

  • 3+ years experience managing various project types, including digital technology, service sales and/or service operations

  • 3+ years of experience with practical project management methodologies, best practices and tools including passport and agile

  • 3+ years of experience managing and influencing of non-direct reporting resources

  • 3+ years of experience working with MSOffice tools, PowerPoint, and Excel, project collaboration tools (Monday.com, Asana, MIRO)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in operations, business, finance, or related fields

  • Comprehensive aftermarket parts and supply chain experience

  • Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle

  • Strive for continuous improvement and prioritize time management

  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or service industry is a plus

  • Capability to both develop strategies and drive tactical execution

  • Effective project management skills

  • Ability to link a series of projects into a cohesive program

  • Superior problem-solving skills and resourcefulness

  • Ability to conduct events and workshops with cross-functional teams

  • Storytelling and communication appropriate to various levels of the organization

  • Cross-functional and cross-cultural engagements

  • Ownership and superior ability to drive results

  • Demonstrated capability to successfully pivot between functional topics (including, sales, operations, service, factory, finance)

  • Knowledge of aftermarket and service

  • Critical thinker with strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
