Job Title: Revenue Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC or remote
Pay Range: $50-$65/HR
Job Summary:
Jefferson Wells is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Revenue Analyst to join our Charlotte based client for a contract engagement. This role will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and forecasting revenue, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of revenue management.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Tracking and Analysis : Monitor and analyze revenue data to identify trends, track performance, and compare against industry benchmarks. Break down revenue by product or service and determine profitability for each segment.
Forecasting and Reporting : Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts future revenue based on historical data and market trends. Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all revenue-related activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. Maintain accurate documentation and support audits.
Data Analysis : Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in revenue management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information for revenue analysis and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Reporting Tools : Utilize financial reporting tools and software to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, revenue management, or accounting.
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and US GAAP.
Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
