Honeywell Project Manager: Sr Legal Operations Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Senior Legal Operations Specialist in the Corporate Legal function at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects as part of the Legal Operations team. You will report directly to our Senior Director of Legal Operations, and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to Legal. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables

  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets

  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues

  • Ensure effective communication and reporting on project status

  • Conduct project reviews and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement

  • Partner across the organization to develop and mature Legal Global Design Models (GDMs)

  • Lead by example and guide others, including senior staff, to improve program management skills throughout the organization

  • Develop and improve resources to help the function manage and execute projects more effectively

  • Partner with other Legal functions formally, as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM), to enable seamless communication between teams and foster a “One Honeywell” mentality

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience in legal operations or corporate legal environment

  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
