This position is responsible for setting direction and providing ongoing strategic oversight for key OpEx initiatives and programs. This position is responsible for driving results within their teams, enabling and supporting their direct reports and peers.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Overall accountability for final deployment and delivery on key initiatives. Provides oversight and ensures overall quality of junior teammates' key project management tasks and delivery.

  2. Key decision maker for opportunities and solutions, leveraging business context to craft strategic, long-term effective solutions. Ability to 'connect the dots' across discrete work efforts

  3. Provides value to initiatives beyond initial remit via individual contributions, teammate contributions, and additional methodologies

  4. Resolving escalations and roadblocks prohibiting identified scope; resolving and escalating identified risks and enabling cross-functional alignment

  5. Implementing developed process-oriented solutions, partnering with teammates to ensure adequate change management and adoption across all levels of the organization

  6. Facilitating and building relationships internal and external to the business unit to ensure initiative success. Uses relationships and well established brand to support other teammates

  7. Coordinating across adjacent work streams to ensure coordinated transformation and optimization

  8. Able to consistently and effectively manage, lead, and motivate a team. Partners with peers and leaders to create opportunities for others to develop skills and expertise

  9. Functions as a SME within their LOB and displays mastery of industry specific knowledge

  10. Ability to take abstract questions and issues and structure them into manageable, specific work streams and deliverables with strong proficiently

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. College Degree or equivalent education, or commensurate training and work-related experience

  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Visio)

  3. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication

  4. Ability to work in a fast paced, highly complex, results driven environment

  5. 5+ years of Financial Services Experience, focused in consumer banking and/or lending

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics

  2. 5 years experience in the consulting industry

  3. Deep knowledge of with operational and technical environments of financial institutions, including knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations

*The annual base salary for this position is $105,000.00 - $110,000.00. The starting hourly wage for this position is $50.00 - $52.00.
