As the Program Management Lead for Real Estate Design & Construction and Facilities Management, you will be at the center of translating and implementing our business objectives and values into physical offices and facilities. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the outsourced service providers to ensure seamless operations, optimizing the support for our business units, and the successful delivery of real estate projects.

Lead and execute complex real estate programs that focus on supporting our local colleagues and business units, including merger & acquisition integration, highly visible real estate projects and activities. Lead an outsourced team of design and construction suppliers in the implementation of strategic and operational aspects of TIH's owned/leased real estate portfolio, optimizing space utilization, and overall value to the business. Role impacts overall colleague and client experience and is pivotal in managing TIH’s overall project and program management process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the program management of design and construction projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and deliver value to our lines of business.

  • Foster strong partnerships with outsourced service providers to guarantee that project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive outsourcing strategy for all service design, construction, and facility service providers, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance management. (e.g. project managers, architects, GC's, design vendors, etc.).

  • Accountable for strategic vendor relationships with regional and national facility services firms to assure execution of hard and soft facility services according to required services levels and in alignment with TIH’s principles and objectives.

  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.

  • Implement robust program controls and reporting mechanisms to provide transparency and facilitate decision-making at the executive level.

  • Lead the transition from project completion to operational facilities management, ensuring a smooth handover to outsourced maintenance and support teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and systems, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.

  • Ensure all projects and facilities management operations are executed with a focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship.

  • Oversee the development and administration of the annual repairs and maintenance and capital improvement budget for all facilities; always seeking methods to optimize expenditures and reduce occupancy expenses.

  • Provide guidance and support in the development of relevant policies, procedures, and objectives.

  • Remain highly connected with business unit leadership across the company to assure proper client satisfaction in workplace and facility conditions and the ability to provide innovative services based on business needs.

  • Provide strategic leadership to a diverse team, promoting a culture of high performance and alignment with TIH’s values.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in program management within corporate real estate, with a proven track record in managing outsourced service providers.

  • Willingness to travel as required to ensure program success.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • PMP Certification (preferred)

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage complex programs and diverse teams.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid understanding of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the real estate operations discipline.

  • Ability to manage complex competing priorities using analytic and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience presenting to and collaborating with Executive and Senior Leadership.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, and the ability to manage in a dynamic environment with a high performing team.
