Alternative Living Solutions of North Carolina Professional Counselor in Charlotte, North Carolina
Alternative Living Solutions of North Carolina is looking for an Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, Licensed Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) This is a contract position looking for someone who has a flexible schedule, can work from home and in the office when needed. Counselors must be able to perform the following duties:
- Initial Assessments/Re-Assessments
- Care Plans/Update care plans when needed
- Complete progress notes within 24 hours after visit has been completed
- Experienced with EAP services for clients with EAP visits
- Diagnosing correctly
- Meeting with patients through tele-health or in person or through telephone if needed
- Help patients overcome and manage different mental health and emotional challenges.
- Provide Individuals with resources they need to reach their personal goals
- Monitor clients progress and modify treatment plan as needed
- Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services
- Complete continuing education services to maintain certifications/Licensure.
