Job Title Job Responsibilities:

EIT Technology team is looking for a Sr. Pega Developer to fill the role of an onshore lead, mentoring and providing technical guidance to a team of developers supporting the Enterprise Independent Testing line of business. In this position, the right candidate will have an opportunity to utilize their experience to grow as a leader, and as a developer, by providing creative solutions for an expanding business unit.

Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) is a center of excellence that conducts independent testing (regulatory, compliance and controls) throughout the year globally across the company, providing ongoing feedback to monitor (and improve) processes. EIT has established itself as the enterprise utility to test all end-to-end processes on behalf of Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing. EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation, and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing technologies. EIT carries a portfolio of 7000+ tests and has a global footprint employing 2,300+ testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as 500+ Global Business Services (GBS) associates.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical leadership to project team for PEGA 8.x projects

  • Conduct and coordinate Proof of Concept applications

  • Key contributor in delivering technology solutions utilizing the Pega Platform

  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and support EITT Pega applications

  • Participate in creating and delivering on project road maps

  • Manage yearly upgrades to the latest version of the Pega Platform

  • Mentoring others by providing guidance on best practices in PEGA architecture, design, and application development

  • Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed or corrected before implementation.

  • Collaborate across teams to build integrated solutions that follow architectural best practices.

  • Coordinate deployments during all aspects of an application development lifecycle

Required Skills

  • CLSA/CSSA with 7+ years of Pega hands on experience in delivery of large enterprise complex solutions

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent working experience

  • Must have strong communication skills to discuss and understand various business processes.

  • Sound understanding of all Pega 8.x features and hands on experience implementing them.

  • Managing platform upgrades, including at least one major version upgrade

  • Deep understanding of Enterprise class structure, complex workflows, and design patterns.

  • Strong experience in case management, data modeling, system integration, agents, user experience design, security, background processing, performance, deployment, and unit testing

  • Strong in UX/UI design expertise and UI guardrails

  • In-depth knowledge of advanced topics such as setting Pega node types, server level configurations, and utilizing the Tracer for troubleshooting obscure coding problems

  • Must have exposure to Agile development and its delivery model

  • Should be able to provide estimates/sizing based on high level requirements

  • Database modeling to support reporting and property optimization

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle SQL DDL and DML

  • A proven desire to learn and apply new Pega features

  • Experience building and unit testing headless workflows that utilize Pegas out-of-the-box REST APIs

  • 1 - 3 years of hands on experience as a Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA

  • 5+ years of hands on experience as a Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) working on multi-tier web application

  • Experience rebuilding/rebranding an application UI utilizing the Cosmos UI

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Experience with other web application technologies (Javascript, C#, Java, etc.)

  • Banking domain experience, specifically Compliance or Risk, is a plus
