Description
We're seeking a skilled Network Administrator with expertise in Cisco switches and routers, access points, SD-WAN, and VLAN configurations to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain Cisco switches and routers to support network operations efficiently.
Implement and manage access points to provide seamless and secure wireless connectivity across the organization.
Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance, reliability, and scalability.
Configure and troubleshoot VLANs to segment network traffic and optimize bandwidth usage.
Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime and responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, assisting with network-related issues and inquiries.
Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard company data and resources.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
Strong knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, and access points, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Experience with SD-WAN technologies, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in VLAN configuration and management.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and protocols.
Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
