Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior IT Auditor. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team in the Banking industry, responsible for auditing various IT applications and systems, ensuring their security and continuity. Prior experience in Financial Services is key, along with knowledge of various banking systems and applications. Strong ITGC experience needed and a CISA or CISSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT audits, ensuring applications and systems are secure and resilient.

• Evaluate third-party services related to IT applications and systems.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in performing auditing tasks.

• Prepare and present audit plans and reports, highlighting any potential issues.

• Implement changes to audit programs based on findings.

• Ensure adherence to IT governance standards, such as CobiT and DCAA.

• Work closely with senior consultants, managing and prioritizing auditing tasks.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing.

• Proficient in using Audit Case Management Software Systems like Teammate Plus.

• Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs is required.

• Knowledge of CobiT framework is essential.

• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and guidelines.

• Proven experience in documenting and communicating Audit Findings.

• Must be able to develop and execute Auditing plans effectively.

• Experience in preparing and presenting Audit Reports.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are desired.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage.

• High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information is necessary.
