Full Stack Node Developer - Charlotte, NC
Exciting opportunity to be a part of an AWS Cloud Greenfield project for a Point of Sale system working with one of the largest FinTech firms around the globe!! This position is working hybrid onsite in Charlotte, NC.
We are seeking JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Mongo developers to help build a world class module of an existing enterprise POS system. These Developers will be managing the exchange of data between microservices, developing backend-end components and integrating with other web services as well as optimizing web-based application performance. This Full Stack Node Developer will be collaborating with front-end applications and developers, designing front-end and backend applications / components / microservices and integrating data storage and secured solutions.
Ideal candidate is fearless, but mindful of refactoring and has a passion for quality code. Must have 3+ years of Node JS, JavaScript, Angular and integration experience with a third-party vendor. Experience with AWS (ECS, APIG and SQS/Kinesis) is a big plus. Ability to interface with external clients so good communication skills and pleasant demeanor are imperative.
Day-to-day you will collaborate with on and offshore team members to help design and develop and test components. Perform peer code reviews. Work with engineering operations in a DevOps capacity. Run diagnostics, repair defects, and provide technical support. Work with QA to ensure they write all test cases. Document processes including MongoDB schema. This position will require a small amount of US travel.
