Kelly Services Electrical Service Technician in Charlotte, North Carolina

A premier licensed general contracting firm based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join their thriving Service Department. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on medium to large-scale commercial and and some residential projects, serving a wide range of commercial customers.

Must be able to travel across the entire NC region to troubleshoot issues - COMPANY VEHICLE PROVIDED

Position: Electrical Service Technician

Pay: $26-29/HR Depending on Experience and interview

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM but MUST be flexible depending on work that gets called in as well

Location: Charlotte, NC - Must be able to travel between Fayetteville, Greenville, Wilmington, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Lancaster SC

What's a typical day as an Electrical Service Technician? You'll be:

• Consistently traveling around North Carolina to handle service calls for our commercial customers

• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus

• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus

• Constructing and fabricating parts using hand tools and specifications

• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics

• Advising management on the continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus

• Supervising electricians and ensuring the completion of tasks

• Ordering electrical supplies and equipment as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a 2-year electrical, technical, or related degree

• Possess a valid driver's license - Company vehicle provided

• Have completed an electrical apprenticeship

• Have at least 2 years of experience as an electrical technician

• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills

• Have good communication skills

• Are experienced in operating hand and power tools, soldering, and fault-testing equipment. Must have your own basic electrical hand tools.
