As our new Civil Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled and experienced team of building design professionals who execute interesting and diverse projects in the municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. Our team is at the forefront of helping clients achieve their built environment goals with an emphasis on sustainability concepts. You will have opportunities to collaborate with design and construction professionals in organizations in the Americas and globally, including Environment & Health, Water, and Energy.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of site civil, site development, stormwater management, grading, parking building arrangements, and underground utilities for clients in heavy industrial, manufacturing, and chemical plant environments.
Develop and review construction plans, specifications, and estimates.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure project success.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, geotechnical data, and other information to plan projects of all levels of complexity and create design deliverables.
Review vendor drawings/submittals to confirm compliance with contract documents.
Collaborate with other disciplines and project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Visit job sites to collect information and provide field support as necessary.
Actively participate in creating a safety culture in the office and in the field.
Consistently utilize sound judgment and discretion in the performance of job functions.
Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in the firm’s quality management system, including drafting standards and specific client or industry standards.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in site civil, site development, stormwater management, grading, parking building arrangements, and underground utilities in heavy industrial, manufacturing, and chemical plant environments.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in MicroStation (Preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
