Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Commercial Banking Global Solutions Program Office (CB-GSPO), part of the Commercial Banking Chief of Staff (COS) organization is chartered with providing a centralized view of business opportunities to leverage a global delivery environment. The CB-GSPO provides strategic guidance and streamlined support to meet the increasing demands facing Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking businesses.

The CB-GSPO is currently seeking a Business Initiative Consultant to assist the team in executing complex Global Delivery Activity (GDA) related initiatives such as SHRP issue management and global delivery systems of record validation exercises. Additionally, this individual will be required to learn the end-to-end Global Delivery Enablement (GDE) Transition Process and understand the role of key support partners to assist in the development, execution and monitoring of Commercial Banking global delivery opportunities. The role will also be responsible for interpreting and communicating changes to the Transition Process or related policies/requirements, summarizing and presenting key constraints/improvement opportunities of global delivery reporting, developing CB-GSPO internal program procedures, creating consultative presentations, etc. This individual will frequently interact with senior leaders while supporting strategic initiatives for the various Commercial Banking business lines and the CB-GSPO team.

This role will:

• Assist in the execution of complex global delivery program initiatives by supporting the development of the scope/approach; monitoring, evaluating and summarizing performance; isolating and reviewing opportunities for improvement; and identifying issues/risks and escalating as appropriate

• Create and maintain presentation decks as appropriate to tell the story of CB-GSPO activity, results, opportunities, accomplishments, etc.

• Support CB-GSPO Strategic Consultants during the Transition Process by assisting with the completion of required documentation; attending and summarizing Transition related meetings; updating information in GDA systems of record; interpreting and summarizing status reporting; and identifying issues/risks/opportunities and escalating, as appropriate; etc.

• Assist in coordinating effective communication, in both written and verbal formats, with senior leaders across the organization and with regulators, as necessary, on behalf of the CB-GSPO team, leveraging Commercial Banking and Enterprise partners as appropriate

• Monitor and modify Commercial Banking related data in the GDA systems of record for accuracy and completeness, addressing any issues as needed

• Support the CB-GSPO on any/all process or system change initiatives

• Assist in the development and documentation of internal CB-GSPO procedures and tools

• Manage/organize CB-GSPO repository venues to ensure artifacts are appropriately archived and access security is up to date

• Partner with all risk, compliance, and audit services as needed/directed

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
