Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of administrative and analytical support duties for a department/plant/division. Leads projects to improve overall administrative efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommends changes to methods and procedures

  • Provides feedback and coaching to others

  • Coordinates work of others and provides training as required

  • Assigns appropriate confidentiality status to materials and may take action to ensure compliance

  • Independently solves most problems on basis of examining pertinent facts

  • Provides data analysis and reporting as needed

  • In addition to maintaining internal customer relations, may interact with external contacts

The range for this position is $0.00 - $3,185.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.

US Union Free Hourly:

The range for this position is ​$0.00 hourly rate - $0.00 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.

US Union Hourly:

The starting pay for this position is ​$0.00 hourly rate. Compensation and benefits available for this position are dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

US Intern:

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
