Robert Half Accounting Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee and manage various accounting operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a leading organization within the automotive industry.

Experience with Salesforce Billings is highly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.

• Lead audits by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain proper financial controls.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Workday, Sage Intacct, and Crystal Reports to streamline workflows.

• Analyze budgeting processes and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Monitor financial data to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.

• Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team to encourage skill development and growth.

• Address and resolve complex accounting issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, consolidations, and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Experience handling audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Ability to manage month-end and year-end close processes effectively.

• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and mentor a team.
