Amex GBT is looking for self-driven and customer focused candidates to join our Global Program Care team. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of analysts ensuring service consistency, continuous improvement, support in driving operational projects and best practice. The role will require collaboration with the other Internal and External stakeholders / partners.
What You’ll Do:
Lead / Recruit/ Train a high performing team.
Committed escalation point for all client-based concerns.
Partnership with client management to align dedicated/designated support resources with client & client manager requirements.
Supervise a team of approximately 20+ Analysts providing guidance and process / floor support. Coaching and development of team members to achieve their full potential.
Translate customer requirements into configurable solutions.
Investigate quality errors and provide coaching and feedback to individuals.
Coach individual / team when performance results indicate, or developmental needs are identified.
Adhere to SLAs, contractual agreements - Achieve performance results as measured by KPI metrics and scorecard.
Be able to prioritize effectively and implement personal organizational systems to ensure all deadlines are met.
Continually review processes to ensure best in class and drive process improvement.
Actively participate in Program Care leadership meetings by sharing thoughts, constructive feedback as well as being comfortable challenging the status quo.
Ensure the working environment develops through sharing best practice, supporting others and creating a wholeness working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 7 years in travel industry experience.
Prior people leadership or leading a team experience is highly preferred.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
Ability to coach & develop team & individual training and development schemes, in conjunction with relevant departments.
Development & Delivery of Training, with Experts where needed.
Training Library & Knowledge management.
Partnership with L&D and Experts.
Partnership with product owners, become experts prior to client being offered new products.
Strong understanding of travel operations, products and platforms.
Excellent communication ability including written and oral presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills in relation to travel-related processes.
Excellent administrative and time management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to influence both internally and externally.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $120,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
