Specific duties include: (1) preparing treatment rooms and instruments; (2) taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays); (3) maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments; (4) sterilizing and disinfecting instruments; (5) providing patient education on dental health and hygiene; (6) helping manage office supply inventory; (7) willing to assist in other areas of the office during down time; and (8) open to learn new skills as opportunities arise.
