Dignity Health Surgical Technician Associate in Chandler, Arizona

Overview

As our Surgical Tech at Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC), now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you.

The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.

CRMC includes a Level I Trauma Center a Heart and Vascular Center a Wound Healing Center a Family Birth Center and many additional services. Responsibilities

The Surgical Tech assists physicians and nurses during surgical procedures and in preparation for surgery. Able to deliver safe competent care. Responsible for maintaining the sterile field being constantly vigilant that the scrubbed members of the team adhere to aseptic/sterile technique. Assembles and processes sterile instrument trays and equipment. Expedites the operative procedure by anticipating the needs of the surgeon. Provides procedural circulating support. Performs instrument and equipment counts.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • HS/GED

  • Completion of surgical technologist program or a minimum of 6 months of surgical technologist experience

  • CT AHA CPRBLS

Preferred

  • Surgical technologist program graduate and a minimum of one year surgical technologist clinical experience

Pay Range

$26.51 - $38.44 /hour
