Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in your trade profession and a solid understanding of OSHA regulations within the construction domain
• Analyze and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and project scopes, ensuring comprehensive understanding
• Develop a weekly 3-week lookahead schedule, effectively allocating manpower resources, and liaise with project management and Superintendents for seamless coordination
• Collaborate closely with the General Foreman and/or Superintendent to address manpower requirements
• Maintain regular communication with the General Foreman, Project Managers/Project Engineers, and General Contractors on a daily basis
• Proficiently conduct complete 90% takeoffs from blueprints and coordinate all startup activities well in advance
• Oversee and manage subcontractors in tandem with CSUSW SW General Foreman
• Uphold and enforce company policies and safety procedures rigorously
• Mentor and guide journeymen and apprentices, fostering their professional growth
• Conduct daily quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and contractual obligations
