Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $21-$24.50 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment!
Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred
Casting and splinting experience preferred
Orthopedic Tech certification highly preferred
Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
High school diploma or GED required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
Room patients and take basic vitals
Complete patient paperwork
Complete prescription refill authorizations and patient callbacks
Perform suture and staple removal
Check MA voicemail lines
Help providers address patient concerns
