Responsibilities

As our Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.

Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others - with a patient-first mindset. Keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency support your career advancement and you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment where you will rarely experience the same day twice.

Responsibilities:

• Provides assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric.

• Handles patients with more complex situations with assistance and supervision.

• Assists with managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff.

• Assumes responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader

Qualifications

Minimum:

• ADN, Diploma, BSN or Foreign Equivalent

• Current AZ State RN License in good standing

• Current American Heart Association BLS

• American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• One year medical/surgical acute experience

Pay Range

$32.50 - $58.90 /hour
