About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technical Solutions Consultant (Lead Business Execution Consultant) on the Merchant Services Business Transformation team as part of Consumer Lending .

The Merchant Services Business Transformation team’s mission is to deliver best in class payment solutions that enable our customers to effectively run their business in an environment that safeguards our customers, employees, and business.

The Lead Technical Solutions Consultant will align under the Merchant Solutions vertical and will support acquisitions of mid-size to commercial/corporate merchants. You will partner directly with the sales team as a technical expert and resource to answer questions related to the payment terminals.

A successful Lead will have direct merchant experience as a technical sales support for ecommerce payment systems, payment gateways, software developer kits, API’s, virtual terminals, B2B payments, e-invoicing, bill presentment or other related financial payment technology applications or systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Technical solution consulting experience preferably with technical sales support for ecommerce payment systems, payment gateways, software developer kits, API’s, virtual terminals, B2B payments, e-invoicing, bill presentment or other related financial payment technology applications or systems

  • Experience with technical sales support for cloud based POS systems and hardware Experience with technical sales support for semi or fully integrated card present payment systems

  • Experience working with partners who offer value added services to merchants, such as workforce management, loyalty or other non-payment related services that merchants rely on to run their business

  • Postman tool write API specs required to know

  • Interpersonal communications understanding and being able to speak

  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solution

  • Ability to develop and manage business relationships

  • Ability to deliver dynamic presentations to business clients

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.

  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
